Almost everyone in the puzzle community knows the game Wordle. It is a masterpiece despite its simple graphics and design. This phenomenon paved the way for many game developers to create addictive puzzle games with just simple code and easy gameplay.
Inspired by the legendary Wordle, Kilordle was released to the public as a variant with the same gameplay and theme.
However, the gameplay has been updated to a tougher level than the original version.
In detail, this variant contains 1000 hidden words, which is 999 words more than the Wordle game, and players can solve them all. The huge number of puzzles in the game can overwhelm players, but there is no time pressure in the game, so you can literally have fun with Kilordle puzzles in your free time during the day.
Playing the Kilordle game
The game Kilordle consists of numerous grids. At first glance, you might think that the Kilordle grid is similar to the Wordle grid, but it is not. Although the grid has a 5×6 layout, it will expand to many rows when you submit the guessed word to the system.
Kilordle requires players to figure out 1000 secret five-letter English words, so you can guess 1005 tries. By this we mean that you can use the number of guesses for all the secret words or you can even use all the guesses for just one word. The decision is up to you.
In addition, the word you guessed will be placed in all the grids of the Kilordle game at the same time. You will not solve words one by one, but all words at once. For this reason, more grids will appear on the screen after you enter each guessed word.
Hints in the game Kilordle
The hints in Kilordle are similar to those in Wordle, except they are gray:
The letters that are part of the hidden words and are placed in the right places are colored green. You succeed in solving the grid when there is a green word in it.
Yellow color indicates that the letter is part of the hidden word, but the letters are in the wrong order in the guessed words.
If there are no letters in the hidden words, they will remain white.
